I spent 8 years teaching in primary classrooms in London and Vietnam. In every class there were children who needed more than I could give in a room of 30: some were falling behind because the curriculum moved too fast, some needed more challenge, and some needed more care for their wellbeing.
My own learning stayed with me too. For a long time I could follow a method without understanding why it worked, so every new topic felt like starting from scratch. I didn't want that for the children I teach.
When children talked through their learning in smaller groups, they asked more questions, took more risks and learned from each other in ways that didn't happen in a full classroom.
That's why I built Knowmadic, so children learn deeply, feel heard and understood, and grow academically, socially, emotionally and creatively.
